Dave Miller: Guitarist

Creator of music & baker of goods…

I am a musician seriously dedicated to continually honing my craft and passing on the knowledge that I have gained along my journey to others who are interested in learning about music and the guitar.

With over a decade of professional teaching experience, I’ve realized the most important aspect of teaching music to remember is that every student has a unique set of strengths, weaknesses, and interests. The teaching method should be tailored to honor these differences.

I create a learning environment where the student gains the skills necessary to achieve his or her goals, while at the same time empowers the student’s personality to shine through the music.

My past students have gone on to study at world renowned music universities such as the Juilliard School of Music, the New England Conservatory of Music, Rutgers University, and Northern Illinois University.

I am available to teach guitar lessons of any level and style, and also improvisation lessons for any instrument.  Lessons generally are either 30 minutes or an hour – your choice.  I teach out of my private studio in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, which is accessible from the R/F/G trains.  I am also available for in-home lessons anywhere in New York City.  In home lessons are assessed an appropriate extra travel fee.  I am also available to teach when I travel, so if you see that I am coming to a city near you on my Performances page, please send me an email at the address below if you are interested.

Please enquire to diller2001@yahoo.com for pricing.  Thank you, and I look forward to making music with you!
